January 3, 2025

Lots of news

2024 was all about a breath of fresh air in Skoda’s model lineup. The brand presented several new and updated models this year. The new Kodiaq and Superb made their debut and the Octavia, Scala and Kamiq all received a facelift. One of the most talked about announcements of 2024 was undoubtedly the Skoda Elroq, an all-new electric SUV. Although the first examples will not be delivered until 2025, pre-sales began as early as 2024.

Top 3

The rejuvenation of the range appears to be bearing immediate fruit. 2024 will go into the books as a record year for Skoda Netherlands. The brand has never sold so many cars in our country as last year. The Octavia is the undisputed leader with 4,890 units sold. The electric Enyaq (3,783 units) and the Kodiaq (3,584 cars) also contributed significantly to this success.

Lease king in the making

Not only private individuals appreciate Skoda, the brand is also doing good business in the leasing market. With more than 15,000 leased cars, Skoda finished in a tidy fourth place, up almost 6 percent from last year. 2025 also bodes well, as the brand says pre-sales of the Elroq are already going well. In addition, an updated version of the popular Enyaq will appear this year.
