Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450

July 17, 2024

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is an important new addition to the long, rich history of Royal Enfield roadsters that continue to lead the way in many categories. Above all, it is very affordable with its price under 7 grand. Okay it’s a 452cc single-cylinder motorcycle with the same block as in the Royal Enfield Himalayan allroad, so you won’t be pulling stones right out of the street with it. Anyway, the single-pit does produce 40 hp of power and a decent 40 Nm of torque.

Royal Enfield Guerrilla

There is a remarkable amount of choice at the Guerrilla. There are three main variants: Analoque, Dash and Flash, and then there are five distinctive colorways to choose from. In short, you are sitting on an eye-catcher, which in terms of seating position, seat height geometry is primarily focused on nice smooth steering in city traffic. Sure, you have enough power to drive on the highway as well, but then the performance might be just a bit too moderate, and you also sit plenty unprotected in the wind. The real scope of work is on country roads and in the city.

Single-cylinder of 452cc

The Guerrilla 450 has a steel twin spar tubular frame. The liquid-cooled single-cylinder has four valves and delivers its maximum power at 8,000 rpm and its 40 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. That means it is a smoothly responsive block that feels eager even at lower revs. You have six gears and a slip and assist clutch.

With driving modes

The 43 mm telescopic front fork and monoshock rear suspension increase confidence. The front and rear 17-inch wheels and 1440 mm wheelbase make the bike stable and controllable. The Guerrilla 450 has electronic throttle control and you can choose from Performance and Eco driving modes. As you will suspect, it is a bit snappier on the gas in Performance than in Eco.

Round display

Fancy is the round clock with digital display. It is actually a 4-inch round infotainment panel, with and so-called Tripper Dash feature supported by the Royal Enfield app. With it, you can record routes, for example, and export and share them in GPX format. You can import the GPX file from any device. In addition to navigation, the interface offers music controls, weather forecasts and comprehensive engine information.

Guerrilla is coming in August

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is coming to Europe in August this year (2024), so if you’re interested you won’t have to wait long. The Guerrilla 450 comes in 3 variants – Analogue, Dash and Flash.
