Renault Twingo 2026 prices: will it really dip below 20,000 euros?
Renault Twingo E-Tech electric Evolution: the starting price
To get right to the point. Yes and no. Indeed, in Belgium, the price of the Renault Twingo E-Tech electric in the Evolution version starts below 20,000 euros. Indeed, there we are talking about a base price of 19,500 euros. For that amount, you get a 60 kW (82 hp) powerful engine and a 27.5 kWh battery, which offers a driving range of up to 263 km. In the Netherlands, the starting price is a bit higher. In the Netherlands, the Twingo E-Tech electric Evolution will be available from 20,990 euros. This is due in part to the fixed foot of BPM tax a 667 euros.
Equipment base version Evolution
Either way, you get standard features in the Evolution include a 7-inch digital instrument panel, 10-inch central screen with smartphone replication and connected multimedia system, cruise control, automatic emergency braking assist, Lane Keeping Assist, advanced driver monitoring, electronic parking brake, individually sliding rear seats, height-adjustable driver’s seat, manual air conditioning, rear parking sensors and a Mode 3 charging cable.

Implementation Techno
The Techno version has a starting price of 22,590 euros in the Netherlands. In Belgium, it is 21,300 euros. This richer-equipped version has as standard the OpenR Link multimedia system with Google built-in, Reno avatar, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, automatic air conditioning, one-pedal driving, a fold-down front passenger seat backrest and a digital reversing camera.
Wheels and colors
Two-tone 16-inch design ‘Diabolo’ wheels are standard on the Techno. For 500 euros more you get 18-inch alloy wheels with ‘Reverso noir diamantée’ design’. Note that the range decreases a bit due to the larger wheel size. The color jaune mango (yellow) is standard. The other colors rouge absolu (red), noir étoilé (black) and vert absolu (green) cost 700 euros more. When orders for the evolution version start in spring 2026, two more colors will be added: blanc glacier (white) and gris schiste (gray).

On-board charger and fast charging
All versions of the Twingo E-Tech electric come standard in the Netherlands with an 11 kW AC bi-directional charger and 50 kW DC fast charger. These charge the battery from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes. The 11 kW AC charger supports V2L (vehicle-to-load), which makes up to 3.7 kW of power available to a 220V device via a power-to-object adapter. In addition, V2G (vehicle-to-grid) also becomes possible, contributing to cost savings in home charging. By the way, these figures mentioned are subject to homologation.
Compact dimensions
Despite a length of just 3.79 meters, the Renault Twingo E-Tech electric is extremely spacious and modular. It features five doors, two independent sliding rear seats (standard on all versions) and a fold-down front passenger seat backrest. The luggage compartment has a capacity of 360 liters.
Renault Twingo R Pass
Holders of the Twingo R Pass will be the first to have the opportunity to order the Renault Twingo E-Tech electric in techno version, including the colors and equipment available at that time. They will be contacted for this purpose by the Renault dealer selected at the time of purchase of the pass. They then have a 22-day preference period – from Dec. 16 to Jan. 7 – to put together and order their car. Those who place an order within this closed period will also benefit from priority in factory production. As a result, they will be among the first customers to take delivery of their new car.
In addition, the Twingo R Pass is still available through Jan. 7, 2026, for those who also want to take advantage of priority delivery. Other customers can order their car starting January 8, 2026. Orders for the evolution version open to all in spring 2026.
