Maximum 650 hp
The Kia EV6 GT’s updated powertrain (AWD) now delivers up to 476 kW (650 hp) with Launch Control activated and 447 kW (609 hp) in GT mode, which can be engaged with a button on the steering wheel. The car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds (with Launch Control) and has a top speed of 260 km/h. The larger battery provides a range of up to 450 km according to the WLTP test standard.
Virtual Gear Shift
The updated Kia EV6 GT also has a number of new features. Some examples include the new Virtual Gear Shift (VGS). This system is only available in Normal, Sport, My Drive or GT Drive modes. Also, the EV6 GT has Active Sound Design. The suspension features updated Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS). With modified shock absorbers and improved steering adjustment, the EV6 GT should also have better steering.
Sound absorbing materials
Comfort has also increased with the further reduction of rolling noise due to new, sound-absorbing materials in the interior, tires and wheel arches. Using AI algorithms, unwanted noise frequencies from the engines have also been further reduced.
Driving modes Kia EV6 GT
The various Drive Modes can be selected via a button on the steering wheel. Eco, Normal, Sport, My Drive and Snow modes can be quickly engaged by the driver depending on conditions or desired driving style, with shock absorption, steering and braking feel optimized for each mode. Snow Mode ensures safe driving on snowy roads and distributes torque accordingly to all four wheels to optimize traction. The neon GT button on the steering wheel engages GT Mode to unleash the full performance potential of the EV6 GT. With 800-volt fast charging technology, the now larger 84 kWh battery can be charged from 10-80% in 18 minutes.
Green neon accents
The EV6 GT immediately stands out with its distinctive green neon accents, which are found on the newly designed steering wheel, suede bucket seats and brake calipers, among others. Also new are the front and rear bumpers, rear diffuser and Kia Starmap daytime running lights. The dual 12.3-inch display screens on the redesigned dashboard include GT graphics. Furthermore, the car also has ambient lighting.
