Prices of new electric Dacia Spring: drive from less than 19,000 euros
Dacia Spring: success number
The Dacia Spring makes electric driving mainstream. Since the model’s market launch in 2021, Dacia has already sold more than 140,000 units in Europe. In 2023, global sales of the Spring rose to a record 61,803 units, up 26.4% from 2022. This makes the Dacia Spring the third most popular electric passenger car in Europe. More than 3,400 units of the Spring have been sold in the Netherlands since its market introduction. This made the Spring the No. 1 in its segment in 2023.
Equipment Dacia Spring
The Dacia Spring has a particularly rich equipment. For example, the Expression version comes standard with the multimedia system Media Control with controls on the steering wheel. The system displays media information and phone calls on the digital instrument panel. The system also includes two speakers, Bluetooth connectivity and a USB port.
The comprehensive Media Nav Live system is standard on the Extreme trim. For the Expression, this system is available as an option. Media Nav Live includes a large 10-inch central touchscreen with 8 years of support for connected navigation, real-time traffic information and constantly up-to-date European maps. Media Nav Live also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Two USB-C ports complete the system.
Driving assistance systems Dacia Spring
The new Dacia Spring also features a range of new driver assistance systems that meet the latest European safety requirements. These include an advanced collision prevention system with recognition of vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and motorcycles, as well as traffic sign recognition with speed warning, rear parking assist, lane departure warning, a lane departure assistant, fatigue recognition and the eCall emergency call system. For added convenience, Dacia has added a smart My Safety button for easy access to configuration of driver assistance systems.
Choice of two electric motors
As standard, the Spring features a 33 kW (45 hp) electric motor. A 48 kW (65 hp) electric motor provides additional dynamic acceleration. This engine variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 14 seconds. The 45-horsepower electric motor – which is perfect for city use – boasts a 0-100 time of less than 20 seconds. The more powerful electric motor is available not only for the Extreme version, but also for the Expression.
The new Spring is the only all-electric car in Europe weighing less than 1,000 kilograms. The empty weight of the Extreme top version is 984 kilograms. The car – despite additions in terms of driver assistance systems and extra equipment – is only six kilograms heavier than the outgoing model. Thanks to its modest vehicle weight and efficient powertrain, the Spring has an average energy consumption of just 14.6 kWh/100 km (WLTP).

Dacia equips the new Spring with a 7 kW onboard charger for alternating current (AC) charging as standard, which allows the battery to be fully charged at a public charging point in about four hours. The ability to charge the battery from 20 to 80 percent in 45 minutes at a fast charging station with a DC charging capability of 30 kW is optional on the 65hp electric motor.
