Porsche 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit: it can be even faster
Manthey Kit: what are the benefits?
The Manthey Kit provides the current Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2) with even better performance on circuits. The kit generates significantly more downforce, further increasing cornering speeds. The chassis of the 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit is also specially adapted for track driving, with brakes designed for the particularly high demands of the track. The new Manthey Kit is the result of close cooperation between the Porsche Research & Development Center in Weissach and the engineers at Manthey in Meuspath. The parts, which are optimized for track use, are sold through Porsche Centers worldwide.

Downforce up to 540 kg at 285 km/h
The aerodynamics of the Porsche 911 GT3, already designed for high downforce as standard, have been further optimized for track use with the Manthey Kit. For example, the entire underbody becomes one continuous aerodynamic element. The underbody air deflectors have been extended by one meter to 1.50 meters. Thus they generate additional downforce in a particularly efficient manner. In addition, the underside of the trunk is now also covered, for a completely smooth floor plate. The bumper lip has been redesigned and moved forward by 12 millimeters. Special diffuser fins under the front and fins on the sides increase downforce on the front axle. The rear wing of the 911 GT3 with gooseneck suspension is wider and now has a spoiler edge (gurney). The end plates of the rear wing have been enlarged and visibly bent inward for optimal air conduction. The rear diffuser with longer fins increases downforce without increasing drag.

CFRP wheel arches
Rear CFRP wheel arches (Aerodiscs) reduce drag and contribute to the interplay of all aerodynamic components to optimize airflow to maximize overall efficiency. As a result of these modifications, downforce increases significantly for the same drag. At a speed of 285 km/h, the 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit produces a total downforce of 355 kg on public roads. In track mode, which should not be used on public roads, the downforce at 285 km/h even increases to 540 kg.

Adjustable coil springs
Together with Manthey, Porsche has developed a suspension for the 911 GT3 with special, four-way adjustable coil springs that can be adapted for track use. With these struts, rebound and compression are adjustable without tools. The adjustable spring rates (ten percent more on the front axle compared to the predecessor with the Manthey Kit) contribute to better handling at the limit and are adapted to significantly higher downforce values. The optimized track chassis increases mechanical grip and allows the car to drive even more stably over kerbs.

Lightweight wheels
A lightweight forged wheel set in 20- and 21-inch sizes is optionally available for the Porsche 911 GT3. These rims reduce the unsprung mass by a total of six kg compared to the standard rims. They are available in brilliant silver, neodymium and black (satin finish). A brake line set with steel casing is included as standard in the kit. This guarantees very precise and continuous brake pressure, and thus optimal brake metering. As an option, special racing brake pads for the PCCB braking system are available for the Porsche GT3 with Manthey Kit.

Extensive range of accessories
For even more visual touches, the 911 GT3 can be personalized with numerous sporty accessories. Carbon sill panels with illuminated Manthey signature, LED door projectors with white Manthey lighting and the option to apply Manthey decals to the doors underscore the sharpened character of the 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit. In addition, carbon Aerodiscs are available in different colors. Front and rear tow loops are available for track use. These are optionally available in red, black or yellow and must be removed before the car is returned to public roads. In addition, the 911 GT3 can be fitted with CFRP air outlets at the front and CFRP air intakes at the rear.
Nearly three seconds faster at the Nürburgring
On the 20.8-kilometer Nürburgring-Nordschleife in Germany’s Eifel region – traditionally the test laboratory for Porsche’s sports cars – the 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit recently recorded a time of 6:52.981 minutes under less than ideal conditions. This made it 2.76 seconds faster than the previous generation (992.1) of the 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit. Both cars were equipped with the optionally available Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires.
The Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 is expected to be available through Dutch Porsche Centers from March 2026. When fitted, the factory warranty for the 911 GT3 remains fully intact.
