Field full of Tesla’s
An alert Reddit user discovered a sprawling field in Florida, where dozens of brand-new Tesla cars were parked among the tall grass.
The field appeared to be a temporary home for the Tesla stock of a dealer in Tampa and possibly even other locations in the U.S. Sunshine State.
Further investigation revealed that the Model 3s are unregistered and rolled fresh off the assembly line in April.
Nice eco
Although Tesla’s have few parts that rust easily, this is not a convenient location to store them for long periods of time.
Standing in a field for months at a time quickly turns these cars into a luxury hotel for mice, insects and, in Florida, even snakes.
So these cars may just bring unwanted passengers to their new owner.
That’s probably not the “eco” experience future owners had in mind.
Usual
While it is normal for car dealers to store extra stock in remote locations, this muddy field in Florida is an unusual choice.
Sure, the cars are polished clean before going to their new owners, but all sorts of things have probably lived under the hood.
