Peugeot E-3008 and E-5008 now also as Long Range: what does it cost?

October 11, 2024

Success number, that Peugeot 3008

Since the launch of the new Peugeot 3008, more than 67,000 orders have already been placed in Europe of the engine variants E-3008 210, Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 and Plug-in HYBRID 195 e-DCS7. In doing so, 60% of buyers choose the more luxurious GT version, further reinforcing Peugeot’s strategic positioning.

Order books for the new Peugeot 5008 have also been well filled since the sales launch in mid-June 2024, justifying the scaling up of production at the Sochaux plant, as well as the addition of a third (night) shift.

230 Long Range versions

To further enhance this success and respond even better to the needs of all customers, Peugeot is now also starting sales of the 230 Long Range versions of the E-3008 and E-5008. These are both available in Allure and GT versions. These are the prices.

96.9 kWh battery

The battery has a net capacity of 96.9 kWh and is combined with a 170 kW (230 hp) electric motor. With a driving range of up to 700 and 668 kilometers (WLTP combined), respectively, they offer the greatest driving range of any SUV. The Peugeot E-3008 and E-5008 230 Long Range are capable of DC fast charging up to 160 kW. This allows the battery to be charged from 20 to 80 percent of capacity in 27 minutes, and every 10 minutes of fast charging is enough for 150 kilometers of additional driving range.

Temperature management system

The Peugeot E-3008 and E-5008 230 Long Range also benefit from a new battery temperature management system that ensures optimized charging times when traveling longer distances and in low outside temperatures. This system is activated automatically as soon as the charger is connected, the charge limit is set at 100% and the cabin pre-heat is activated (manually or scheduled).

Start of delivery

The Peugeot E-3008 and E-5008 230 Long Range will make their public debut at the Paris Motor Show (October 14-20, 2024). Production of these versions will begin in December 2024. Both models were designed and developed in France and will be assembled at the Sochaux plant. They are also the first Stellantis models with batteries produced at the ACC Gigafactory in Douvrin, France. The batteries exemplify the high level of French technology.
