September 19, 2024

Much interest in Dongfeng Box

Kjeld Riegen, CEO of importer Voyah Benelux: “The interest is already overwhelming and orders are pouring in. The focus is fully on the upcoming market introduction of the Dongfeng Box in the Netherlands and Belgium. The first shipment is on its way and the first units of the BOX will appear on the road before the end of this year.”

Launch Edition kicks off

The Box will be in showrooms from late October, but it is already available for pre-order in the Launch Edition pre-order.
Riegen continues: “The Launch Edition is a very complete version with luxury features such as a 360-degree camera, a power-adjustable driver’s seat with ventilation and heating, adaptive cruise control, V2L functionality and a driving range of 310 km (WLTP). Unique in its class at a surprisingly low price.”

Competitive price

With the European introduction of the Dongfeng Box, the final price for the Netherlands has also been announced.
For the most luxurious version, the temporarily available Launch Edition, the recommended retail price including delivery costs is 23,400 euros.
For the Style Edition to be ordered later, the price is 22,400 euros.
The Box is also particularly attractive for lease drivers, with a tax value of 21,990 and 22,990 euros, respectively.

SEPP subsidy in 2024

You can still benefit from the SEPP subsidy of 2,950 euros in the Netherlands in 2024, making electric driving very advantageous.
Want to drive the Box already?
For a test drive you will have to be patient until the end of October.

Dongfeng’s future plans for Europe

Dongfeng is tackling entry into the European market very thoroughly.
For example, the company is investing billions in the development of innovative technologies and new models, and seven additional design and R&D centers are being opened, including some in Europe.
R&D activities for Europe are already currently taking place at the existing R&D center in Sweden.
In addition, a central European parts warehouse will be built in Venlo, the Netherlands, by the end of 2024.

In addition, future plans for a headquarters and production facility in Europe reinforce the commitment to fast and reliable service.
These expansions will enable the manufacturer to best respond to the specific needs of European customers and further optimize service.
