One-week-old Tesla: “Suddenly my steering wheel fell off on the highway!”

The owner says on Twitter – Tesla chief Elon Musk’s favorite medium – the following: “I was lucky that no car was driving behind me when my steering wheel detached from the steering column.” The owner was able to get the new car to a safe stop. Shortly after the malfunction, the owner of the less-than-week-old Tesla Model Y contacted the Tesla Service Center.

No Refund Policy

Incidentally, this is not the first time a steering wheel has come loose on a Tesla. It has happened before. Of course, these are incidental cases, but the fact that it happens is, of course, unintentional. The owner of the Model Y has lost faith in Tesla, he indicated on Twitter. But Tesla has no return policy.

No flower

The brand did not send the man flowers or a letter of apology after the incident. Indeed, the man was even sent a bill by Tesla customer service. The man had to transfer $103.93, to repair the steering wheel of his one-week-old car….
