Nissan reaches milestone with EVs: 1 million EVs!
Nissan LEAF
Since its launch in December 2010, more than 650,000 units of the Nissan LEAF have been sold worldwide. The model – currently sold in about 50 markets, particularly in Japan, the U.S. and Europe – continues to be highly valued by customers around the world.
Nissan Ariya and Sakura
Nissan began selling the Ariya, an electric crossover, in 2022. Of that car, Nissan is not yet disclosing sales figures. Also coming to market in 2022 was the Sakura, the first EV in the Japanese mini segment. The Nissan Sakura is a hit, as the Japanese automaker has already received 50,000 orders for the model to date.
