New Dutch distributor for Maxus
Sustainable transportation and last-mile solutions
With the distributorship of Maxus, Van Mossel Automotive Group adds a new brand to its extensive Dutch multi-brand portfolio. For the Netherlands, the focus will be on Maxus’ commercial vehicle range. “Maxus is a welcome and unique addition to our current commercial vehicle brands in the Netherlands, as it already was in Belgium. With Maxus, we will focus specifically on sustainable transport and last-mile solutions in and around the city,” explains Eric Berkhof, Managing Director Van Mossel Automotive Group. Maxus Distributions is managed in the Netherlands by General/Commercial Director Ralf van Meer.
SAIC
SAIC Motor is convinced of the potential of Maxus for the Dutch market. “With Van Mossel Automotive Group, we have a large and professional partner with whom we can put Maxus well on the map in the Netherlands,” said Jack Zhu, General Manager of SAIC Mobility Europe. “The strength of the Maxus brand combined with Van Mossel’s distribution network make Maxus in the Netherlands a very interesting alternative for the business market of durable vans.”
Nationwide network of Maxus branches
An extensive, nationwide network of Maxus sales and service branches has been rolled out in the Netherlands. Half of the new dealer organization will be filled with Van Mossel Maxus branches, which rely on a wealth of experience in commercial vehicle sales, maintenance and service. In addition, current Maxus dealers Bluekens, Nijwa and Truckland are also part of the new dealer organization, complemented by Autohuis de Poort Amersfoort. This puts the new Maxus dealership organization, with 22 locations, off to a strong start.
