Motorists on A20 ignore red crosses, arrow truck and 50 pawns en masse

On Twitter, the Department of Public Works expressed disgust at the dangerous behavior of motorists who continued to drive on a closed lane on the A20 in the late afternoon on Tuesday. Through red crosses above the road, an arrow truck and over 50 pawns, it was made clear that the exit at Vlaardingen-West was closed. Dozens of drivers did not care. According to the Department of Public Works, this seriously endangered a highway worker. CCTV footage from the Department of Public Works clearly shows cars and vans driving right past a Department of Public Works employee and his vehicle. Some motorists even slalom between the pawns to get onto the closed exit ramp:
