Major British study: these 10 brands are the most reliable

Warrantywise included data only from cars whose manufacturer’s warranty had expired. Data from cars older than 10 years was also not used. The study consists of data from 131,000 auto policies from the year 2021 and 2022.
Top 5
At the top of the list is Honda. The brand scored 96.8 out of 100 points. According to the company, this is partly because of the Honda Jazz. The little Japanese appears to be the most reliable car according to the data. Toyota came a close second with an overall score of 91.2/100, followed by Suzuki and Kia. The entire top five consists of East Asian brands, as Korea’s Hyundai is in fifth place.
French and Italians
In places 6 to 10, you might now expect some German brands. That is not the case. Fiat, Citroën and Renault rank sixth to eighth. Next follows another Japanese brand – Mazda – followed by Ford.
