Lexus NX: small displays are a thing of the past
Model year update Lexus NX
In 2022, Lexus introduced the second generation of the SUV in NX 350h (Hybrid) and NX 450h+ (Plug-in Hybrid) flavors. The top trim, the Executive Line, of the hybrid Lexus NX 350h was previously available only in combination with all-wheel drive. With the model year update, a front-wheel-drive version of this version will also become available.
Air purification
And then the interior of the NX. Each new NX gets Panasonic’s latest version of nanoe X air purification technology on board. By releasing nanoe ions into the cabin atmosphere through the air conditioning vents, nanoe X helps eliminate viruses, bacteria, pollen and other allergens, as well as bad odors.
Adaptation
Another tweak: the optional 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system was already available on the top-of-the-line Lexus NX 350h model, but now the system also becomes available as an option for the Executive trim of the NX 450h+ Plug-in Hybrid.
9.8-inch display history
For every version of the Lexus NX, the 14-inch Lexus Link Connect multimedia system is standard as of the model year update. Previously, the NX was also available with a 9.8-inch screen. That disappears now.
More updates
The optional digital interior mirror gets a new digital auto-dimming mode to reduce glare from the headlights of rear-going vehicles to ensure a clearer view. Finally, Lexus applies an improved, high-positioned rear brake light for better visibility on the road.
From the third quarter of this year, the first units of the updated SUV will be delivered. Prices will follow at a later date.
