Lancia Ypsilon HF: a high-performance Lancia! – SNEAK PREVIEW
Lancia Ypsilon HF
The Lancia Ypsilon HF is powered by a 100% electric powertrain with an output of 176 kW (240 hp).
The powertrain is identical to that of the Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce and Abarth 600e.
This trio all gets front-wheel drive with a mechanical limited slip differential on the front axle.
The Ypsilon HF sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.
Furthermore, the Ypsilon HF features a lowered suspension and wider track.
The Lancia Ypsilon HF also looks a bit fatter than the “regular” Ypsilon.
This is due to the sportier bumpers, the flared wheel arches and the subtle rear diffuser.

HF logo
The Ypsilon HF also features the revamped HF logo.
It is a reinterpretation of Lancia’s historic performance logo.
The original logo was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1960 by the founders of the exclusive “Lancia Hi-Fi” club.
The logo later became the hallmark of the HF Squadra Corse Lancia.
The historic logo consisted of the white capital letters HF on a black background, with four red, running elephants below and the text ‘SQUADRA CORSE’ in white on red.
The little elephant was chosen as a good luck charm, based on the imagery of an elephant on the loose that is unstoppable and eventually became the symbol of achievement and driving pleasure.
The new Lancia Ypsilon HF will arrive on the Dutch market in May 2025.
In the video above we tell you many more details!

Lancia Ypsilon Rally 4 HF
At the same time as the Ypsilon HF, Lancia is also presenting the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, announcing the brand’s return to rallying.
This version was developed for the Group Rally4 class of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).
Lancia is still today the most successful brand in the history of rallying, as evidenced by the years of championship years on the flank of the car.
The brand won a total of fifteen WRC titles, three constructor and Endurance World Championships, the legendary 1000 Miglia, the Carrera Panamericana and twice the Targa Florio.
Of course, you’ll also want to know more about the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF itself.
This rally car is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that produces 156 kW (212 hp).
Drive forces are sent to the road via a manual transmission, mechanical limited slip differential and front-wheel drive.
With the Lancia Ypsilon Rally 4, the “LANCIA CORSE HF” logo also returns.
Again, this is a reinterpretation of a historic logo.
In the new logo, ‘CORSE’ is written in a special font, while the angled, graphic elements express speed.
Also, the logo can be used both horizontally and vertically.
