Lancia HF returns with rally version Ypsilon

May 28, 2024

Lancia HF

The Lancia Ypsilon HF is a new performance version of the Ypsilon and a big fat nod to the brand’s rallying past. Power has been boosted to 240 hp, allowing the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. The Ypsilon HF has a lowered suspension and wider track, inspired by iconic HF models from Lancia’s past. The extra-spicy Ypsilon will be at Lancia dealerships next May. His price is not yet known. More great news from Italy: the two future Lancia models, the new Gamma and Delta, will also both be launched as extra sporty HF versions.

Rally Driving

Lancia also immediately announced its return to rallying with the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, developed for the Group Rally4 class of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). This rally version is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 212 horsepower. The new Ypsilon HF and the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF feature a revamped HF logo, a contemporary reinterpretation of the historic performance logo. The logo still features the distinctive white letters on a black background, with the familiar little elephant in the center.
