Kia EV9 GT: a seven-seater with 508 hp
Kia EV9 GT
From 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, even with seven people on board? With the Kia EV9 GT, it will soon be possible. This sporty version of the EV9 has 373 kW (508 hp) and offers different driving modes: from eco to sport and a snow mode for extra grip in slippery conditions. An electronic limited slip differential, adaptive suspension and torque vectoring should ensure a hefty dose of driving pleasure.

Kia has developed the Virtual Gear Shift, which allows you to shift gears virtually via steering wheel paddles. Combined with Active Sound Design, which mimics the sound of shifting gears, it creates a driving experience that Kia says feels like driving a gasoline-powered car. A similar system is already in the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N.

Not a good family car
Inside, a neon green GT button on the steering wheel reveals that the EV9 GT is no good family car. Through this button, all horsepower is unleashed. Inside, the sporty vibe continues with vegan leather sports seats and suede accents, all finished with eye-catching green details.

Large and green
In terms of looks, the EV9 GT leaves little to the imagination. The grille features striking lights, giving it a futuristic look. There are new 21-inch alloy wheels, with bright green brake calipers behind them bearing the GT logo.

Range
The EV9 GT has about 450 kilometers of WLTP range. That is more than 100 kilometers less far than the – much less powerful – EV9 RWD, which gets 563 kilometers far on a full battery charge. The fast EV9 uses 800-volt fast-charging technology. This allows the 99.8 kWh battery to be charged from 10% to 80% within 24 minutes at a powerful fast charger.
