Kenshiki Forum 2025: all highlights Toyota and Lexus at a glance
Kenshiki Forum in Brussels
Toyota Motor Europe organized the Kenshiki Forum in Brussels on March 5 and 6. During this corporate event, Toyota’s top management presented the latest developments of all Toyota’s affiliated brands, namely Toyota itself, Lexus, GAZOO Racing (GR) and the group’s micro-mobility division. Toyota presented several world premieres and also showed behind closed doors a new model of Lexus, of which we will see more in April 2025.

Toyota Highlights
Toyota launches new battery-electric models for European B-, C- and D-SUV market segments. The Kenshiki Forum saw the world premiere of the all-new battery-electric Toyota C-HR+ for the C-SUV segment, as well as the updated Toyota bZ4X and the new Toyota Urban Cruiser. These three Toyotas will be at dealerships before the end of 2025. Toyota sees a key role for these new battery-electric models in its multi-path strategy toward carbon neutrality by 2035. By this, Toyota refers to the strategy of providing a suitable powertrain for everyone: from hybrid to 100% electric. In 2026 and beyond, Toyota’s BEV offensive will be rolled out further, with the introduction of new models and new battery technologies.

Lexus Highlights
Lexus also had news during the Kenshiki Forum. The brand unveiled the improved Lexus RZ and showed behind the scenes a new model of which we will hear more in April 2025. An embargo was signed to keep details about this new model under wraps for a while longer, so stay tuned. Of course, we can already tell you about the updated Lexus RZ. New to the RZ lineup is the RZ 550e F Sport, an extra powerful and sporty version. This F Sport also debuts Lexus’ steer-by-wire system, an improved version of Direct4 all-wheel drive and Interactive Manual Drive. The latter involves a manual shift system including engine sound. Overall, the Lexus RZ also gets updates. An overhaul of the battery system provides up to 100 km more range and faster charging. The braked towing weight has increased to 1,500 kilograms. The updated Lexus RZ will be introduced this fall.
