Jeep announces new generation Compass

STLA Medium platform

The new Jeep Compass will be on the highly flexible STLA Medium platform. The model will be available with all-electric drive, a hybrid powertrain and conventional internal combustion engines.

Market launch of new Jeep Compass

The new Jeep Compass will make its debut in Europe. Production will begin during 2025 in Melfi, Italy. In 2026, production will expand to North America and the rest of the world. Jeep is also working behind the scenes on a new-generation Renegade. A new “mainstream SUV” will also follow. Delivery of the Jeep Wagoneer S will also begin during 2025.

Jeep Compass, how it began

The first generation Jeep Compass appeared in 2006 as a compact SUV. The model aimed Jeep to appeal to a younger target market. In 2011, the Compass received a facelift with a look inspired by the Grand Cherokee. In 2017, the second-generation Compass appeared. During 2021, the Compass received an updated look and the interior was completely redesigned with modern infotainment options and safety features. So in 2025, it will be time for a completely new generation.
