Hydrogen fuel cell systems

The memorandum includes research on the adoption of hydrogen fuel cell systems and technologies as well as research on the adoption of energy-efficient solutions for mobility projects and products.
Exploring opportunities for the hydrogen ecosystem and value chain beyond mobility is also part of the research.

Hydrogen crucial for sustainable society

Both parties share the vision that hydrogen is an important pillar for a sustainable society, starting with mobility.
As part of the memorandum, the parties are exploring the possibility of Hyundai sharing its fuel cell system and technology, which would help accelerate environmentally friendly mobility in the global markets where Škoda Group operates, including the Czech Republic.

Hyundai Motor Company and Škoda Group are also conducting feasibility studies for fuel cell system applications for a variety of applications outside of mobility.
Hyundai is poised to play a crucial role in supporting the energy transition, thanks to its extensive global expertise and insights into operating various hydrogen applications in both the mobility and energy sectors.
