The all-new Hyundai Santa Fe

Market launch
The new generation Hyundai Santa Fe will enter the South Korean market in the second half of 2023. In the first half of 2024, markets such as North America and Europe will be next. It is too early now to communicate prices.
Motorsline-up
In South Korea and North America, the new Santa Fe will be available with a 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine (Theta III 2.5T GDI – 8DCT) rated at 281 hp. There is also a 1.6-liter Turbocharged Hybrid (Gamma III 1.6T GDI HEV – 6AT) on the menu with 180 horsepower.
In Europe, we get two powertrain options, namely a 1.6 Hybrid (Gamma III 1.6T GDI HEV – 6AT) or a 1.6 PHEV (Gamma III 1.6T GDI PHEV – 6AT). The system power of these engine variants is not yet known. At least the gasoline engine produces 160 horsepower. The hybrid variant weighs 2,225 kilograms and the plug-in hybrid Santa Fe weighs as much as 2,295 kilograms. The Santa Fe Hybrid sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds. The PHEV requires 9.1 seconds for the same sprint. Top speed comes out to 190 km/h in both cases.
In other world markets, the Hyundai Santa Fe gets a 2.5-liter gasoline engine (Theta III 2.5 GDI – 8AT) with up to 194 horsepower.
Dimensions Hyundai Santa Fe 2024
The new Hyundai Santa Fe has a length of 4,830 mm, a width of 1,900 mm and a height of 1,720 mm (1,770 mm with roof rails). The wheelbase comes out to 2,815 mm. Luggage space comes out to 725 liters. The cargo area opening has been increased by 145 mm to 1,275 mm.
Colors Hyundai Santa Fe 2024
Presumably we will get ten exterior colors in Europe, namely Abyss Black Pearl, Creamy White Pearl, Creamy White Matte, Typhoon Silver Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Ocado Green Pearl, Terracotta Orange, Cyber Sage Pearl, Earthy Brass Metallic Matte and Pebble Blue Pearl. For the interior, there is a choice of Obsidian Black, Supersonic Gray, Pecan Brown, Forest Green and Black Ink themes.

Interior
Within Hyundai, the new Santa Fe is the first model to benefit from a Panoramic Curved Display, consisting of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. There is no shortage of space. The longer wheelbase allows room for three rows of seats. The use of eco-friendly materials gives the SUV an eco edge. The glossy black paint applied to the exterior trim uses recycled carbon materials. The Relaxation Seat in the front row with leg support allows occupants to relax in a comfortable position. The 6.6-inch full-touch climate control display makes heating and cooling adjustments even more intuitive.
There is room for seven or six people. In the six-seat variant, the electrically adjustable, independent second-row seats with armrests provide great comfort for the rear passengers. The power folding and second row seats also have cushion angle adjustment. So you can also relax in the back. The all-new Santa Fe also features the world’s first Bilateral Multi-Console storage space that can be opened by both front and rear passengers.
UV-C Sterilization Tray
One of the other convenient features of this SUV is its dual wireless smartphone charging system. A C-type USB connector (max. 27W) is also included. In addition, a UV-C Sterilization Tray is attached to the top of the glove compartment, allowing for easy sterilization of frequently used items, such as cell phones, wallets. You read it right: the new Hyundai Santa Fe disinfects your smartphone.
Hyundai Santa Fe XRT Concept
Hyundai has also designed a special Hyundai Santa Fe XRT Concept. This, according to the South Korean manufacturer, is the ultimate outdoor lifestyle car, capable of reaching remote areas. Production plans? No, Hyundai does not have one for now. It is really a study model.
