The most horsepower for the least money

For less than 200,000 euros, it is quite difficult to find a new car in the Netherlands with more than 600 hp. But at Hyundai, you’ve come to the right place. The Koreans will soon introduce in our country the IONIQ 5 N: an over-the-top sport version of the IONIQ 5. It is Hyundai’s most powerful electric sports car ever. Two electric motors produce up to 609 hp under normal conditions and up to 650 hp with N Grin Boost engaged. What does the brand charge for all this power? 73,995 euros. A reasonable amount, for so much power.

The range of the absurdly powerful hatchback is 448 km (WLTP). The IONIQ 5 N features a lot of sporty goodies from Hyundai’s N Sport division, such as 21-inch forged alloy wheels, gloss black plastic bumper skirts, an N rear spoiler with LED brake light and N bucket seats with illuminated N logo. Optional Vision panoramic roof can still be chosen. Solid 275/35 R21 Pirelli P-Zero tires ensure optimum grip, but drifting is also possible thanks to the special drift mode: N Drift Optimizer.
