Attempt to flee failed

After driving through a revolving door, the Audi drove through the lobby briefly and then back to the front door to exit the lobby. But that didn’t work out, reports CNA. After the Audi A5 came to a stop against the front door, other hotel guests attempted to get the driver out of the car, but the doors were locked and the roof was closed. The driver then drove backwards in an attempt to exit the lobby.

Driver apprehended

No one was injured, but the 28-year-old driver was detained by local police, including for vandalism. Attempted manslaughter is still under investigation, as some people had to run away when the Audi drove through the hotel lobby.

The video of his action went viral on China’s social media network Weibo. Several people filmed his action.
