Honda e:Ny1

The Honda e:Ny1 is designed to meet growing customer demand for all-electric SUVs in the B-segment. The e:Ny1 is an eektric variant of Honda HR-V and debuts Honda’s brand new design style for EVs, with white ‘H’ badges on the vehicle, including on the nose, wheel hub caps and steering wheel. Also visible on the tailgate is the name “Honda” in a new font for a premium look that will appear on the brand’s future EVs.

New center console

A clever arrangement of the electric powertrain components ensures that the e:Ny1 offers remarkable interior space and comfort. The all-new center console features a simple layout with easily accessible buttons, multiple storage options and wireless charging, while a clear dashboard topped by a large 15.1-inch touchscreen provides access to a comprehensive range of infotainment and driving options. 

e:N Architecture F

The e:Ny1 is built on Honda’s newly developed e:N Architecture F, a platform with the engine at the front, focused on three fundamental features: a special body structure with high rigidity, a low center of gravity and carefully managed under-floor aerodynamics ensure that the SUV offers an enjoyable and confident driving experience.

Powertrain with hefty battery of 68.8 kWh

In addition, the platform includes a lightweight three-in-one integrated drive unit, electric motor and gearbox. It generates a maximum power of 150 kW and 310 Nm of torque. Under the floor is a high-capacity lithium-ion battery that delivers a range of up to 412 km (WLTP) and can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 45 minutes with DC fast charging. This battery is 68.8 kWh in size.

New chassis

A brand new chassis developed specifically for battery-electric vehicles provides improved torsional rigidity thanks to the high-grade steel used in 47% of the e:Ny1’s bodywork (by weight). Together, the new platform and powertrain provide the dynamic performance, exceptional comfort and refinement drivers expect from Honda’s newest EV.
