He’s there! Suzuki GSX under 10,000 euros

The Suzuki GSX-8S has been completely redesigned from A to Z. “An all-day naked bike created to offer the ultimate blend of comfort, agility and riding pleasure. A serious ‘streetfighter’ with striking mass-forward stance and vertically stacked hexagonal LED headlights,” Suzuki’s importer said of this new GSX.

Complete equipment

The GSX-8S is soberly interesting above all because of its price of just under ten grand and its equipment. In fact, that one is very comprehensive. The complete Suzuki Intelligent Ride System electronics package is standard. Through the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), there is a choice of three driving modes: Active, Basic and Comfort. You can control the Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS) in three modes. A multifunctional 5-inch color TFT display informs you of driving data and selected settings.

Suzuki Cross Balancer

Like the new Suzuki V-STROM 800DE, the Suzuki GSX-8S has a 776cc parallel-twin with 270° crankshaft. Which features the patented Suzuki Cross Balancer mechanism that reduces vibration. A Bi-directional (up & down) quickshifter is standard. The powerplant is good for an output of 61 kW (82.9 hp) at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm. A variant for A2 license holders is also available with 35 kW (47.5 hp).

Payload only 202 kg

The robust new frame stands out for its perfect balance and comfortable seating position. The GSX-8S is easy to control and steer through tight turns, thanks in part to its relatively low kerb weight of 202 kg. The KYB suspension, 120/70 front tire and wide 180/55 rear tire provide precision, grip and control in the most challenging conditions. The seat height of 810 mm makes this performance naked also accessible to smaller riders.

Suzuki Easy Start

Two 310 mm front brake discs, a single 240 mm rear disc and ABS ensure braking performance. The proven Suzuki Clutch Assist System for smooth shifting, Low RPM Assist for smooth pulling away and the Suzuki Easy Start System where the engine starts automatically at the touch of a button are also present on the new GSX-8S.

Colors

The Suzuki GSX-8S is available in three colorways, namely Pearl Cosmic Blue, Pearl Tech White and Metallic Matte Black combined with Glass Sparkle Black. You can personalize the GSX-8S with various original accessories, including two side cases.
