Grandma wants to go shopping, ends 200 km away
“Back again!”
What had to be a message around the corner, became almost half a world trip for the Breda woman. The elderly lady adjusted her navigation, but made a mistake. Could happen, you might think. Were it not for the fact that the eight-kilometer ride turned into a journey of more than 200 kilometers.
Belgium
She got lost and ended up in Roisin in Belgium, a stone’s throw from the French border. The police there met her around half past eleven in the evening. Her phone was dead by now and she had no idea where she was.

Je ne sais pas
Police took care of the woman and tried to make contact, but the language difference made it difficult for both parties to understand each other. The police were therefore unable to contact the Bredase family. In the end, the police charged her, set up the navigation correctly and then sent her back home. Apparently this is also possible, because the woman eventually got home safely.
