Ford stunts prices Ford Explorer: the bargain of the year?
Bargain
When can you actually speak of “a bargain”?
The Dikke Van Dale says: koop-je (the; o; plural: bargain) something that is not expensive. OK, the title of this article can go straight into the trash, because every new car these days is expensive.
But what Ford is putting on the table now, we dare call one of the sharpest offer of the year.
Ford Explorer Limited Edition Extended Range
Indeed, the brand is offering a substantial discount on the – take a deep breath – Ford Explorer Limited Edition Extended Range RWD.
Ford is doubling the SEPP subsidy (2,950 euros), reducing the price of this version from 43,750 euros to 37,850 euros.
Until recently, for that money you bought an electric compact hatchback with up to 400 kilometers of range, but the Explorer is a hefty family SUV with a solid range.
What do you get?
The Ford Explorer Limited Edition Exte… this version of the Explorer will get 544 kilometers far on a full battery thanks to a 79 kWh battery.
A 204-hp electric motor powers it, and with a quick charger, it can charge the battery pack from 10 to 80 percent in 26 minutes with up to 185 kW of charging power.
It is dressed up with 19-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting and a power-adjustable driver’s seat with massage function and heating for both the seats and steering wheel.
It’s quite comfortable in the stuff, in other words.
Ford’s double SEPP bangs will still be available to order and drive this year.
But be quick, because the edition is limited.
