The Toyota Corolla Cross comes with two hybrid powertrains: the Hybrid 140 and Hybrid 180, offering Toyota a choice in performance while both versions contribute to the brand’s electrification strategy. The car is part of Toyota’s broader SUV lineup, alongside the C-HR, among others.

Striking exterior

The appearance of the Toyota Corolla Cross has been updated to suit the tastes of the European market. The front has a honeycomb grille and new headlights with adaptive high beam assist. The Executive version gets an additional LED strip between the headlights. The taillights are aerodynamically designed and feature fins, while the model stands out with new 18-inch alloy wheels and an embossed logo on the tailgate.

Extra silence on board

The interior has been further optimized for a quieter and more comfortable driving experience. Toyota has added cushioning material at the roof and wheel arches. The exterior mirrors have also been modified to reduce wind noise. In higher trims, a three-layer silencer under the dashboard helps reduce engine noise.

Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport: sporty addition to the range

New to the lineup is the GR Sport trim. This variant features 19-inch black wheels, black accents all around and specific GR details such as badges and a unique Storm Grey color scheme. Inside, red stitching and sports seats with synthetic suede stand out. The suspension has been lowered 10 mm and tuned differently for more dynamics. Power steering and shift paddles have also been tweaked and there is a Sport mode that affects the driving experience, including improved braking on throttle release.

Safety with Toyota T-Mate

Toyota equips the Corolla Cross as standard with T-Mate, which brings together all of the brand’s safety systems. Among other things, this version includes the third generation of Toyota Safety Sense, with additional driving and parking systems. Updates can be made over-the-air.

Market introduction Toyota Corolla Cross

The Toyota Corolla Cross will be available in the Netherlands from the third quarter of 2025. Prices will be announced later. The GR Sport version will appear in the fall.
