Facelift: Hyundai Bayon now looks even more futuristic

What do you get for your money?

Hyundai has given the Bayon a facelift.
A distinctive feature is the so-called Seamless Horizon Lamp across the full width of the car.
The Koreans are asking a minimum of 26,995 for the compact crossover.
For the base price, you get the i-Motion version, which already comes with good stuff as standard.
Think a 1.0 T-GDI engine with 73 kW (100 hp), air conditioning, a rearview camera and a 10.25-inch multimedia screen with navigation.
Of course, the Bayon is packed with driving assistance and safety systems.
Inside, you’ll find a leather steering wheel and shifter, and thanks to Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates, you’re always up-to-date without a visit to the dealer.

Safety first

The updated Bayon comes standard with second-generation eCall, which automatically activates emergency services in the event of an accident.
Other safety features include LED daytime running lights, active lane assist and speed sign recognition.

Comfort and luxury

For those who want just a little more, there is the Comfort version starting at 29,295 euros.
This version offers extras such as 16-inch alloy wheels, full LED lighting in the front and a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel.
Also handy: a center armrest with USB port for the rear passengers.

The top Premium version starts at 31,295 euros and offers ultimate luxury with privacy glass, a Bose Premium audio system, fully automatic air conditioning and a smart key with start button.
There is also a Premium Sky version with a sliding/tilting roof for those who want to enjoy the sun extra.

engines

The updated BAYON is equipped with a 1.0 T-GDI gasoline engine with 73 kW (100 hp), supported by 48-volt mild-hybrid technology.
This reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
For added convenience, there is also an optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Stylish colors

You can choose from nine body colors, including four new ones: Lucid Lime Metallic, Lumen Gray Mica, Meta Blue Mica and Vibrant Blue Mica.
Optionally, you can also choose a roof in Phantom Black for some colors.
