It was packed at Tesla Supercharger stations nationwide on Aug. 29. The Hotel Van der Valk in Breda also had a storm, not only with Tesla’s, but also with other brands. In fact, Tesla’s Supercharger station is also accessible to non-Tesla cars.
Opening up of charging network
Opening the Tesla Supercharger network to other EVs began in November 2021 as part of a pilot program. After months of data and feedback collection, it became a permanent offering. The open network is the largest ultra-fast charging network in Europe with more than 9,200 Superchargers and 660 Supercharger stations currently accepting all EVs.
Number of Superchargers
Ten years after opening the first Tesla Supercharger, this American automaker’s network extends across 36 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa with more than 1,000 locations and 13,000 individual Superchargers.
