Opel Mokka Electric

The 100% electric version of the Opel Mokka has been given the same engine and battery as the all-new Opel Astra Electric. To equalize things even further, the name was also immediately changed to Mokka Electric (was Mokka-e).

406 km range

The Opel Mokka Electric has a 54 kWh battery and a more powerful electric motor that uses less energy. The range has increased to 406 kilometers (compared to 338 km in the Mokka-e), while average consumption has fallen to 15.2 kWh/100 km. In addition, the Opel Mokka Electric offers enhanced performance thanks to its more powerful electric motor (+15 kW) with an output of 115 kW (156 hp) and 260 Nm of torque.

Drive modes

The driver of the Opel Mokka Electric can adjust the driving character as desired with Eco, Normal and Sport driving modes. For example, the model drives extra efficiently in Eco mode (to maximize range), while in Sport mode the full potential of the powertrain is available. In B mode, the operation of the regenerative braking system is enhanced, allowing the Mokka Electric to recover more energy during braking and deceleration.

11 kW 3-phase charging

With the Opel Mokka Electric, you can also count on favorable charging times. Thanks to the standard 3-phase on-board charger, you can charge at an alternating current (AC) charging point with a power of up to 11 kW. At a quick charger (DC) along the highway, the battery can be recharged with up to 100 kW, bringing the battery to 80% full in about 30 minutes.

Popular car class

The electric Opel Mokka-e competes in the B-SUV segment and is becoming increasingly popular in Europe. In the Netherlands, one in four electric models sold in B-SUV segment is an Opel Mokka, and almost half of all Mokka customers choose an electric version instead of a gasoline or diesel engine. Opel does not (yet) reveal whether the improved powertrain of the Opel Mokka Electric is also accompanied by a price change. The current starting price is 38,499 euros.
