The Cupra Born VZ has an electric motor with an output of 240 kW (326 hp) and an impressive torque of 545 Nm. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes just 5.6 seconds, while top speed is capped at 200 km/h. Adjustable, adaptive shock absorbers (DCC) the car also has, as well as sport stabilizers and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Range
The Born VZ has a 79 kWh battery pack with a maximum range 593 km (WLTP). Fast charging can be done with up to 185 kW. With that, charging the battery pack from 5-80% takes 26 minutes under ideal conditions. In just over 8 minutes, 100 kilometers of additional range can be “refueled.
Interior Cupra Born VZ
To perfectly experience the car’s sporty DNA, the Born VZ comes standard with extra sporty Cup bucket seats with a lowered seating position, Dinamica upholstery and electrically adjustable lumbar support. The multifunction and heated sports steering wheel with regeneration paddles also adds to the sporty feel. In addition, the Born VZ also has dark-tinted rear side windows and a dark rear window, automatic air conditioning with two climate zones, smart LED ambient lighting (dashboard and front doors), a multimedia/navigation system with 12.9-inch/33-cm touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) and front and rear parking sensors.
VZ Pack
Cupra also supplies a VZ Pack. Highlights of this package include the panoramic roof, a head-up display with Augmented Reality, the high-end Sennheiser audio system with ten speakers and subwoofer, parking assist with memory function (Trained Parking), a 360-degree camera, parking sensors all around and all driving assistance systems. As an introduction, this VZ Pack is temporarily available for an additional price of only 1,995 euros.
The sporty Cupra Born VZ can be ordered now from 49,990 euros. Starting in mid-August, the sporty top model will be available to drive in the Netherlands.
