Horse Technologies and Caterham
Horse Technologies is a division of Horse Powertrain – a global joint venture of Renault, Geely and Aramco. The company focuses on the development and production of the latest generation of hybrid and fuel engines and systems. In addition to complete powertrains, Horse Technologies also produces engines, gearboxes, electric motors, batteries and power electronics systems.

Ford has stopped producing the Sigma engine.

Horse Technologies’ 1.3-liter four-cylinder HR13 turbocharged engine is specially tuned for Caterhams and is expected to deliver 95 kW (130 hp) and maximum torque of 176 Nm at 5,150 rpm.
