Buy Volvo EX90? Please be patient

Two drive variants

The Volvo EX90 can be ordered with a choice of two powertrain variants, both with two electric motors, all-wheel drive, seven seats including electrically folding third row and 2,200 kg towing weight. Also included is a 111 kW battery capable of 250 kW fast charging, which allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.

The prices of the Volvo EX90

There is a choice of a Twin Motor and a Twin Motor Performance. Prices start at €102,495 for the EX90 Twin AWD Ultra with 300 kW (408 hp) of power, 770 Nm of torque and a range of up to 585 kilometers (WLTP). The Volvo EX90 Twin Performance AWD Ultra with 380 kW (517 hp) of power, 910 Nm of torque and a range of up to 580 kilometers (WLTP) is available from €107,495. Also subscription possible

The Volvo EX90 comes standard with a Care Pack that includes a three-year factory warranty, maintenance and replacement of wear parts. The EX90 is also available through Care by Volvo, a subscription service. This will cost you at least a hefty 1,549 euros per month, though.

The online configurator does tell us that the delivery time for a new EX90 is considerable. It can take 16 to 18 months. Of course, the delivery time depends on the chosen model, version and motorization. But with most of them, you have to wait up to almost a year and a half for delivery.

Colors Volvo EX90

Volvo will deliver the electric SUV in several colors, namely Onyx Black, Denim Blue, Platinum Grey, Silver Dawn, Vapour Grey, Sand Dune and Crystal White. There is also a choice of 21-inch 8-spoke Aero wheels or 22-inch 5-spoke Aero alloy. For the interior, you can choose from Nordico Microtech Dawn Quilted/Dawn, Nordico Microtech Charcoal/Charcoal, Nordico Microtech Cardamom Quilted/Cardamom or Tailored Wool Blend Midnight Zinc/Charcoal themes.
