KGM – the new name of SsangYong – is presenting in Brussels not only the new Actyon but also shows the Torres, Tivoli as well as the 100% electric Torres EVX. In addition to this Inster Cross, Hyundai is also unpacking the Hyundai Initium, an SUV with hydrogen technology. The electric SUV Ioniq 9 is also on display.
Volkswagen has even more interesting cars on the show floor, including a purple Polo, the ID GTI Concept, a first-generation Golf GTI, several GTX models, and the new-generation Transporter is also not to be missed. The new eDeliver5 from Maxus can also be seen on the show floor. This brand also delivers a pickup, the eTerron9. At Suzuki we detect the new Swift, a classic Suzuki Fronte and of course the brand’s most important news: the electric Suzuki eVitara. That’s the little brother of the… right, the new Toyota Urban Cruiser. That electric crossover also debuts in Brussels.
Fast forward to Ford. There you will run into a tough Mustang, but also several firsts, such as the Ranger Plug-in Hybrid, a plug-in hybrid pickup. Also on the show floor are the Capri and Explorer, as well as the 100% electric Ford Puma Gen-E. This one is also cool: an eTransit in MS-RT trim in a poison green color.
During the Brussels auto show, the Car of the Year 2025 was also announced. The title did not go to the Kia EV3, but to the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric.
Many Chinese in Brussels
There are also a remarkable number of Chinese car brands in Brussels. Consider Hongqi. That brand is showing the EHS7 and the EH7. And have you heard of Sportequipe? By the way, BYD’s booth will also feature the new Sealion7 and the Seal U DM-i.
Stellantis has its own hall
Car group Stellantis has a complete hall of its own in Brussels. Here too we detect a lot of news, because in addition to the Fiat Grande Panda, you will also encounter the Fiat Topolino, Abarth 600e, Fiat Pandina, Leapmotor T03, renewed Opel Mokka, the new Opel Frontera, Opel Grandland and renewed Citroën e-C4. Also not to be missed: the updated Citroën Ami and a striking concept car: the C5 Aircross Concept. Also be sure to stop by Alfa Romeo, where you will come face to face with an eye-catching supercar: the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. The Lancia Ypsilon and DS Numero 8 complete the party at Stellantis.
