BMW shows M5 Touring in Christmas suit

In a short teaser video, BMW shows off the new M5 Touring. Unfortunately, you may not tear off the gift wrap just yet, as the unveiling is not scheduled until sometime in mid-2024. Despite its packaging, you can clearly detect some typical sporty M elements, such as a hefty spoiler and four fist-thick exhaust tailpipes. What you can’t see, of course, is what’s going on underneath. Like the future BMW M5 Sedan, the Touring variant will also feature a partially electrified powertrain. We are betting on the powertrain of the BMW XM, which consists of a 4.4-liter V8 assisted by an electric motor, together good for 748 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque.
