A visit to the British Motor Museum will stay with you – REPORTAGE
British Motor Museum is worth a visit!
The British Motor Museum can safely be called a family-friendly museum.
The museum offers a colorful insight into the British auto industry – from the popular “Time Road” to the “Under the Skin” interactive area.
From its beginnings, the British car industry has been a vital part of the economy and lives of the people of the Midlands, and today it remains a center for automotive creativity.
The museum tells the story of the birth, decline and rebirth of the auto industry and the cars it produced.
The museum also celebrates the skills and creativity of the people who designed and built them.
It’s really worth a visit, also because you can see the Jaguar Heritage Collection.
But we will go into that in detail in another article through a photo report.
Vauxhall Heritage Collection
During our visit, we were also able to see the Vauxhall Heritage Collection.
Vauxhall announced in August 2021 that its heritage collection will be housed at the British Motor Museum.
The collection – which totals 50 cars and vans – charts the story of Vauxhall Motors’ rise from a niche sports car manufacturer to one of Britain’s best-known car brands.
The collection showcases the legacy of Britain’s oldest car manufacturer over each decade, starting with the first 5-horsepower four-seater from 1903.
About thirty of these vehicles are on display for visitors.
For us, the 2000 Astra 888 Coupe stood out.
A kind of DTM racer with license plate.
A very cool limited edition.
