Im Jahr 2020 \u00fcberraschte BMW mit der Einf\u00fchrung eines fetten Boxermotors im klassischen Look. Das war die BMW R 18, mit einem Hubraum von 1.802 cm\u00b3 und dem Aussehen eines authentischen amerikanischen Custom Cruisers. Ein reines Motorrad, bei dem der Motor eine zentrale Rolle f\u00fcr den Look spielt. Ein Boxermotor, Big Boxer, der das Hinterrad \u00fcber eine offene Kardanwelle antreibt. Bald folgten Modellvarianten: die BMW R 18 Classic, R 18 Continental, R 18 B und die R 18 Roctane. <\/p>\n

BMW R 18 erh\u00e4lt mehr Drehmoment<\/h2>\n

F\u00fcr das Jahr 2025 wurde die Modellreihe R 18 einer General\u00fcberholung unterzogen. Der 67 kW (91 PS) starke Motor erf\u00fcllt dank eines modifizierten elektronischen Motormanagements die Abgasnorm Euro 5+. Der Eingriff f\u00fchrte gleichzeitig zu einem h\u00f6heren Drehmoment von 163 Nm, das sind 5 Nm mehr. Zwischen 2.000 und 4.000 U\/min stehen immer 150 Nm zur Verf\u00fcgung. In der Praxis erleben Sie einen sehr reaktionsschnellen Motor bei niedrigen Drehzahlen. <\/p>\n

Gr\u00f6\u00dferes 18-Zoll-Hinterrad<\/h2>\n

Der BMW R 18, sozusagen das Basismodell, bekommt ein 18-Zoll-Hinterrad mit sieben Doppelspeichen. Vorher waren es 16 Zoll. Ein solches gr\u00f6\u00dferes Rad sorgt f\u00fcr etwas mehr Stabilit\u00e4t. Das 19-Zoll-Vorderrad bleibt erhalten. Sie k\u00f6nnen jedoch die Option Contrast Cut Wheels w\u00e4hlen, bei der die Aluminiumgussr\u00e4der poliert und mit Klarlack \u00fcberzogen sind. Das vordere Schutzblech erh\u00e4lt eine modernere Form. An der Vordergabel sind die klassischen Gabelabdeckungen verschwunden. Neu ist auch der Einzelsitzsattel mit dickerem Schaumstoff f\u00fcr etwas mehr Komfort. Die Auspuffanlage hat eine andere Form. Neu sind auch der silberne Antriebsstrang und die schwarz lackierten Aluminiumfelgen. <\/p>\n

BMW R 18 Klassisch<\/h2>\n

Das auff\u00e4lligste neue Merkmal der Classic-Variante ist der vordere Kotfl\u00fcgel. Dieses wurde von der R 18 B in Kombination mit einem 19-Zoll-Speichen-Vorderrad (vorher 16-Zoll) \u00fcbernommen. Der neue Kotfl\u00fcgel harmoniert mit den Gabelabdeckungen, die weiterhin f\u00fcr die R 18 Classic erh\u00e4ltlich sind. Die Basisversion der BMW R 18 Classic hat einen silbernen Antriebsstrang und eine verchromte Auspuffanlage, Drahtr\u00e4der (19″\/16″). Die Lackierungen sind Blackstorm Metallic und Mineral Grey Metallic Matt. Als Option ist die Variante 719 Aquamarin mit einer zweifarbigen Lackierung in Blue Planet Metallic\/Oriental Blue Metallic erh\u00e4ltlich. <\/p>\n

F\u00fcr den R 18 Continental gibt es jetzt alternative Farbschemata zur urspr\u00fcnglichen schwarzen Version. Es gibt ein zus\u00e4tzliches Farbschema Two-Tone Dragonfire Red Metallic mit einem schwarzen Antriebsstrang und St\u00f6\u00dfeln sowie einem Ansaugschalld\u00e4mpfer in Dark Chrome. Das optionale Komfortpaket umfasst eine Berganfahrhilfe, Reifendruckkontrolle, Zentralverriegelung und einen abschlie\u00dfbaren Tankdeckel. <\/p>\n

Ebenfalls neu als Sonderausstattung ist das Filler Panel, das den Spalt zwischen Seitenkoffer und hinterem Kotfl\u00fcgel optisch eliminiert. Au\u00dferdem k\u00f6nnen Sie f\u00fcr den R 18 Octane das Komfortpaket mit Hill Start Control, abschlie\u00dfbarem Tankdeckel, Reifendruckkontrolle und Griffheizung abhaken. <\/p>\n

BMW R 18 B<\/h2>\n

In der Basisversion des R 18 B ist die sogenannte Favoritentaste Standard. Damit haben Sie schnellen Zugriff auf Funktionen wie die Lenkerheizung. Sie m\u00fcssen nicht erst mit dem Multicontroller in das Men\u00fc gehen. Das ist der drehbare Ring neben dem linken Lenker, mit dem Sie durch alle Men\u00fcs auf dem Display bl\u00e4ttern k\u00f6nnen. Die Griffe lassen sich jetzt mit einem Tastendruck schnell aufheizen. Bei der R 18 B k\u00f6nnen au\u00dferdem weitere Farboptionen bestellt und zus\u00e4tzliche Ausstattungen abgehakt werden. <\/p>\n
