Das Werk in Burnaston war das erste au\u00dferhalb Japans, in dem Toyota mit der Produktion von Hybridmodellen begann. Seit seiner Gr\u00fcndung im Jahr 1989 ist das Werk ein fester Bestandteil der europ\u00e4ischen Produktion von Toyota. Seitdem wurden mehr als 3,25 Milliarden Euro in das Werk investiert, was es zu einem wichtigen Glied in Toyotas europ\u00e4ischem Netzwerk macht.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"754\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/03_5-miljoenste-Toyota-rolt-van-de-band-in-het-Verenigd-Koninkrijk-1140x754.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-188489\"><\/figure>\n<h2><strong>Hybride<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Burnaston spielt eine einzigartige Rolle in der europ\u00e4ischen Automobilproduktion von Toyota. In den letzten Jahren hat sich das Werk ganz auf die Herstellung von Hybridfahrzeugen konzentriert und ist nun f\u00fchrend auf diesem Gebiet. Burnaston und das dazugeh\u00f6rige Motorenwerk in Deeside, Nordwales, bilden zusammen Toyota Manufacturing UK (TMUK). Die Produktion begann 1992 und heute arbeiten dort etwa 3.000 Menschen.
