Der Vauxhall Astra Coupe 888 wurde durch den Erfolg des Triple Eight Teams in der British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) mit dem Vauxhall Astra Coupe inspiriert.
\nVon diesem Modell wurden nur 100 Exemplare gebaut.
\nDas Triple Eight Team war eng in die Entwicklung des Modells eingebunden. <\/p>\n

Leistungsstarker Turbo-Benzinmotor<\/h2>\n

Am Motor des Astra Coup\u00e9 Turbo wurde nicht wirklich herumgeschraubt.
\nSo leistet der 2,0-Liter-Vierzylinder-Turbobenziner immer noch 140 kW (190 PS) und ist mit einem F\u00fcnfgang-Schaltgetriebe gekoppelt.

OZ Racing Leichtmetallr\u00e4der<\/h2>\n

Der Wagen verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber ein tiefergelegtes Eibach-Fahrwerk und Sto\u00dfd\u00e4mpfer, ein von der BTCC inspiriertes Bodykit, 17-Zoll-Leichtmetallfelgen von OZ Racing und einen neu gestalteten Innenraum mit sch\u00f6nen Verkleidungen.

Europa Blau<\/h2>\n

Die H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit des Vauxhall Astra Coupe ‚triple eight‘ betr\u00e4gt 245 km\/h und der Neupreis im Jahr 2000 lag bei \u00a320.995.
\nAlle 100 Exemplare waren in Europa Blue lackiert, kombiniert mit einer schwarz\/blauen Innenausstattung.
