All dies geht aus den Untersuchungen hervor, die der CarGurus Manual Handbrake Report seit 2018 durchf\u00fchrt. Hatten 2018 noch 37 Prozent aller Modelle einen herk\u00f6mmlichen Handbremshebel, so werden es 2023 nur noch 9 Prozent sein. So sind bereits 91 Prozent aller Modelle mit einer elektronischen Parkbremse ausgestattet. Dabei handelt es sich h\u00e4ufig um einen kleinen Schalter, der in den Mitteltunnel eingebaut ist.<\/p>\n

Diese Automarken haben noch eine Handbremse<\/h2>\n

Die Marken mit dem h\u00f6chsten Anteil an Modellen mit Handbremse sind derzeit Suzuki (71 % – f\u00fcnf von sieben Modellen), Abarth (66 % – zwei von drei Modellen), Dacia (50 % – zwei von vier Modellen), Fiat (45 % – f\u00fcnf von 11 Modellen) und Ssangyong (40 % – zwei von f\u00fcnf Modellen). Im \u00dcbrigen wurden in der Studie die kleineren Akteure auf dem Automobilmarkt nicht ber\u00fccksichtigt. Caterham zum Beispiel hat nur Modelle mit normaler Handbremse.<\/p>\n

Kleinere und billigere Benzinfahrzeuge haben noch eine normale Handbremse<\/h2>\n

Die einst universell einsetzbare Handbremse ist heute weitgehend kleineren und billigeren Benzinern wie dem Kia Picanto und dem Mazda 2 vorbehalten. Die Realit\u00e4t sieht jedoch so aus, dass die manuelle Handbremse mit gro\u00dfer Wahrscheinlichkeit bis zum Ende dieses Jahrzehnts in den meisten Autos aussterben wird.<\/p>\n

Elektronische Handbremse deutlich teurer<\/h2>\n

Eine elektronische Handbremse bietet dem Fahrer mehr Komfort durch automatische Steuerung und Hill Hold-Funktionen, die das Anfahren am Hang erleichtern. Aber die manuelle Handbremse bietet auch Vorteile. Es ist zum Beispiel billiger, sie zu ersetzen. Die Reparatur einer elektronischen Handbremse kann bis zu dreimal teurer sein als die einer manuellen Bremse. Eine normale Handbremse kostet etwa 230 Euro, eine elektronische Handbremse dagegen 680 Euro. <\/p>\n

Autofahrer wissen auch eher, wie sie im Notfall einen Handbremshebel finden als einen kleinen Knopf. Auch die altmodische Handbremse vermittelt oft ein eher mechanisches Gef\u00fchl, das manche Fahrer bevorzugen. Das wird also bald wirklich vorbei sein.<\/p>\n
