Valkenburgs Name ist unter den Kommentatoren des Motorsports kein Unbekannter. Nelson Valkenburg war in der Tat f\u00fcr RTL und Eurosport t\u00e4tig, wo er mehrmals \u00fcber die 24 Stunden von Le Mans, die Rallye Dakar, die WEC und die WTCR berichtete.  <\/p>\n<h2>Eltern  <\/h2>\n<p>Sie kennen Nelsons Eltern vielleicht vom Rennteam Geva Racing, das ihnen geh\u00f6rt. Doch Nelson wurde nicht selbst zum Fahrer. Er sagt, dass er an der Boxenmauer besser zur Geltung kommt, weil es ihm Spa\u00df macht, Menschen zu f\u00fchren und ihnen etwas beizubringen.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/nelson-valkenburg-melroy-heemskerk-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-143303\"><figcaption>Melroy Heemskerk &amp; Nelson Valkenburg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Olav Mol<\/h2>\n<p>Nelson Valkenburgs Vorg\u00e4nger ist Olav Mol. Gl\u00fccklicherweise verf\u00fcgt Valkenburg \u00fcber gen\u00fcgend Erfahrung, um die Nachfolge seines Vorg\u00e4ngers gut anzutreten. Valkenburg begann als Moderator\/Kommentator auf der Rennstrecke von Zandvoort und gab 2007 sein Deb\u00fct bei Eurosport. Bei Eurosport entwickelte er sich nicht nur zu einem Kommentator der <a href=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/formule-1-kalender-2023\/\">Formel 1<\/a>, sondern auch zu einem Kommentator der Olympischen Spiele, wo er \u00fcber Tennis-, Schwimm- und Eiskunstlaufspiele berichtete.  <\/p>\n<h2>Gesellschaftst\u00e4nze<\/h2>\n<p>Die Entscheidung, Nelson Valkenburg als Formel-1-Kommentator zu ernennen, kam bei Olav Mol nicht gut an. Er sagte: &#8222;Nelson hat bei Eurosport eine Menge gemacht, vom Schwimmen bis zum Gesellschaftstanz. In dieser Hinsicht haben sie also einen echten Spezialisten im Haus&#8220;. Nelson Valkenburg nahm diesen Spott sportlich, indem er Verst\u00e4ndnis zeigte: &#8222;Ich habe auch manchmal gedacht: Wie h\u00e4tte ich mich gef\u00fchlt, wenn ich diese Position 30 Jahre lang gehabt h\u00e4tte? Ich verstehe, dass so etwas weh tut, ich muss das auch nicht pers\u00f6nlich nehmen.&#8220;<\/p>\n<h2>Melroy Heemskerk  <\/h2>\n<p>Valkenburg berichtet zusammen mit dem ehemaligen Fahrer Melroy Heemskerk \u00fcber die Rennen. Melroy Heemskerk gewann 2009 als Fahrer die Formel Ford und wurde damit niederl\u00e4ndischer und Benelux-Meister. Die beiden kennen sich schon seit langem und sind laut Valkenburg Jugendfreunde. Die Chemie zwischen den beiden Kommentatoren von Formel-1-Rennen ist sehr wichtig, aber es scheint nicht daran zu mangeln. Nelson baut normalerweise auf und schl\u00e4gt den Start, dann \u00fcbernimmt Melroy in der ersten Runde.
